You can rename or delete a home you created, or delete your whole Chore Boss account.
Rename a home
- Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen, then My Homes.
- Tap the home.
- Tap the three dots at the top right, then Edit.
- Type the new name and tap Save.
Delete a home
Only the person who created a home can delete it.
- Switch to a different home first, since you can't delete the home you are using.

- Tap Settings, then My Homes.
- Tap the home you want to delete.
- Tap the three dots at the top right, then Delete.
- Tap Yes to confirm.
Deleting a home also deletes its chores and member profiles.
This can't be undone.
Leave a home you joined
There is no way to leave a home you joined from the app yet.
You can switch to your own home and keep using it.

Delete your account
- Tap Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Read the message and tap Yes.
You can also tap Settings, then My Homes, then the three dots at the top right, then Delete Account.
After you delete your account, Chore Boss signs you out of this device.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google.

Troubleshooting
- "Cannot Delete Active Home" Switch to another home first, then delete this one.
- Nothing happens when I tap Delete on a home: only the person who created the home can delete it.
- "Unable to delete your account. Please check your connection and try again." Connect to the internet and try again.
- I don't see Delete Account: sign in first.
If you are signed in, the member selected on this phone has Limit Access.
Switch to a parent's profile from the name at the top of the Home tab.
