How to sign out and what happens to your data

When you sign out, Potty Whiz removes your data from this phone. It stays in your account, and comes back when you sign in again.

Before you sign out

Entries you logged while offline are only on this phone until they sync. To keep them:

1. Connect to the internet.
2. On the home screen, pull the list of children down and let go to sync.
3. Optionally, check My Account: the time next to Last Sync: should be now.

Sign out

1. Tap the gear icon at the top right of the home screen.
2. Tap Sign out.
3. Read the message and tap Yes.

The message says: "Logged events will be removed from this device. You can retrieve them again by signing in."

What happens when you sign out

• Your children, activities, reminders and timers are removed from this phone.
• Your data stays in your account, and your family can keep using it on their phones.
• Potty Whiz goes back to the welcome screen, and you can keep using it without signing in.
• If you log activities while signed out, they are saved on this phone and added to your account the next time you sign in.

Sign back in

1. Tap the gear icon at the top right of the home screen.
2. Tap Sign In.
3. Sign in the same way you did before: Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or your name and email.

Your data downloads again. This can take a moment when you have a lot of entries. See How to Sign In.

Troubleshooting

• My data didn't come back: make sure you signed in with the same email and method as before. See I signed in but I don't see my data.
• Some entries are still missing: see I have missing data or my app is not up to date.
