Doggy Time allows you to manage pets that are no longer actively tracked by marking them as "Archived" or "Deceased". This helps keep your dashboard organized while preserving all the memories and data associated with these pets.
Marking a Pet as Archived or Deceased
To mark a pet as archived or deceased:
- Go to the pet's profile by tapping on their card from the dashboard
- Tap the Edit button (pencil icon) in the top right
Scroll down to find the relevant section:
- Archived Status : Use this for pets you're temporarily not tracking (e.g., fostered pets that have been adopted, pets staying with someone else)
- Deceased Status : Use this when a pet has passed away
Select "Yes" for the appropriate option
For deceased pets, you can optionally set the date when they passed
