Doggy Time is free to use, with a paid Premium plan for more pets and more features.
One Premium subscription covers everyone on your account.
What's free
- Log as many activities as you like.
- Add 1 pet of your own.
- Use 10 timers, then keep logging with manual entry.
- See your pet's calendar one day at a time, and its charts for the default date range.
- Read messages from your team.
- Get one free insight for each pet on the Insights tab, once you've signed in and logged a few activities.
- See a sample of the Assistant.
- Use the app without an account.
What Premium adds
- Pets: add as many pets as you like.
- Timers: as many timers as you like, including GPS walk tracking (the free plan includes 10).
- Reminders: regular, smart and medication reminders, and reminders for other people on your account.
- Photos and videos: add them to any activity.
- Documents: keep vet records and other papers for each pet, and get reminded before a vaccination or other document expires.
- Share a Report: send a PDF or CSV summary to your vet, sitter or trainer.
- Custom activities: create your own activity types.
- Item details: amounts, calories, costs and other details for food, medication and other items.
- Your team: invite other people, choose which pets they can see, and send team messages.
- Assistant: ask questions about your pet's logs and log activities by chat.
- Insights: new insights as you keep logging, insights for any date range, and your insight history.
- Progress: week and month calendars, custom date ranges, and comparing activities.

Do the people I invite need Premium?
No.
Everyone on your account gets Premium through your subscription.

How to upgrade
- On the main screen, tap the gear icon to open the menu.
- Tap Unlock More Features!
- Choose a plan and follow the steps from Apple or Google.
You can also tap any yellow star in the app to open the same screen.
If a free trial is available, the screen shows a button to start it.
Already paid?
- Tap the gear icon, then Unlock More Features!
- Tap Restore Purchases.
Make sure you are signed in to the same account you paid with.

Manage or cancel your subscription
Tap the gear icon, then Unlocked!, to see and manage your subscription.

Troubleshooting
- "timer(s) remaining on your free plan!": you are using your 10 free timers.
When they are used up, you can still log the activity by entering the times yourself.
- "Upgrade to send messages": sending team messages needs Premium.
- "A premium subscription is required to use this feature.": the watch app needs Premium and a signed-in account.
