Insights are short AI summaries of your child's potty training, written from the entries you log.
Open your child from the home screen and tap the Insights tab.
You need to be signed in, because insights are made from your synced entries.
What an insight shows
The dates it covers are at the top.
Tap a section to open it:
- The Numbers: how many times each activity was logged.
- Patterns: your child's daily rhythm, typical times and what tends to follow what.
- Observations: the success rate, how it changed, and anything your notes explain.
- Caregivers: what each person who logged entries contributed.
- Suggestions and Predictions: things to try, and tendencies to expect.
A section is left out when there isn't enough data for it.
When a new insight appears
New insights are made automatically, and you get a notification when one is ready.
- The first one comes once your entries cover at least one full day.
- After that, a new one comes at most about once a day, once at least 5 new entries have synced since the last one.
In the first days it can come sooner, while your log is growing fast.
- Each one covers the 30 days up to your latest entry.
An insight doesn't change after it's made, so its numbers stay the same until the next one.
The counts on the Progress tab update as soon as you save an entry.
Do notes affect insights?
Yes.
Insights read the note on each entry, so a note like "right after nap" can show up in Patterns or Observations.
Only the first 100 characters of each note are read, and notes never change the counts.
Free and Premium
- On the free plan, you see a preview until your child's first insight is ready.
That one is free, then Keep the insights coming asks you to upgrade.
- With Premium, new insights keep coming, and you can use History and Generate.
- For a child someone shared with you, insights follow the plan of the family that owns the child.
Generate an insight for any dates
- Below the insight, tap the date range and pick up to 31 days.
- Tap Generate.
The new insight opens in Insights History, marked Manual.
The Insights tab keeps showing the newest automatic insight.
Tap History any time to read past insights.
Send feedback
Under each insight, choose a face, type a comment and tap Send.
Your feedback goes to our team.
Troubleshooting
- "Your insights are still processing or you need to log more activities. Please check back later."
Your first insight isn't ready yet.
Keep logging, and check that you're signed in and your entries have synced.
- "Log a few more activities to get insights."
The dates you picked need at least 5 synced entries.
- "An insight for this date range already exists. Check history to view it."
Open History, or pick different dates.
- "Date range must not exceed 31 days. Please select a shorter range."
Pick a shorter range.
- "An error occurred while processing your insights. Please try again later."
Check your internet connection and try again later.
