How to see when your pet will need to go next
Doggy Time shows a likely next pee or poop time on your pet's Activities tab, and a count of days without an accident. Tap your pet's card, then look under the day's totals.
On your pet's Activities tab, Doggy Time can show when your pet's next pee or poop is likely, and how many days they've gone without an accident. Both are worked out from what you've logged, so they only appear once there's enough to go on.
Where to find it
- On the main screen, tap your pet's card.
- On the Activities tab, make sure today is selected.
- Look under the day's totals.
It shows for pets that log pee or poop.
Next pee or poop
You'll see a line such as Next pee likely around 3:15 PM or Next poop likely around 6:00 PM. When the time has passed, it says A pee is likely due now.
It's worked out from the last 14 days you logged:
- During the day, from how long your pet usually goes between pees, or between poops.
- For poops, it can also use how long your pet usually goes after a meal at that time of day.
- Overnight, from how long your pet usually goes after the last time before bed.
Tap the line to see what it's based on. It's a guide, not a promise: every pet has off days.
To be reminded, tap Remind me in that explanation. It opens a new reminder set for 10 minutes before the likely time, so you can change it before you save it. Remind me shows while the likely time is more than 10 minutes away.
It only appears when your log has enough regular pees or poops, and you've logged one in the last day. The more you log, the sooner it shows.
The next pee and poop times are part of Premium. Without Premium, you'll see See when the next pee is likely with a star. Tap it to upgrade. See What's free and what's in Premium.
Days without an accident
You'll see a line such as 5 days without an accident (best: 12). This is free.
- A day counts when you logged a pee or a poop and no accident.
- Days with nothing logged don't count either way.
- An accident is an Accident entry, or a pee or poop with an option such as "Inside" or "Accident".
- Accidents you only wrote in a note aren't counted, so log them with the Accident activity.
It appears once you've logged pees or poops on 3 different days. Tap the line to see how it's counted.
Troubleshooting
- I don't see anything under the day's totals. Check that today is selected, and that Pee or Poop is turned on in your pet's Settings tab. Keep logging: the lines appear once there's enough to work from.
- The next pee time disappeared. It hides when nothing has been logged for a day, or a couple of hours after the time has passed. Log the next pee or poop and it comes back.
- The count of days without an accident starts again. An accident was logged since the last day that counted. The count goes up again with the next day you log a pee or poop and no accident. Your best run is still shown.
