How to search activities and view timelines

There are three ways to look back at what you logged: the calendar, search, and a timeline for each activity. All three are free.

Browse by day with the calendar

The calendar sits at the top of your child's Activities tab.

  1. Tap a day to see its entries listed below the calendar. Days with entries show how many there are.
  2. Tap the arrows, or swipe the calendar left or right, to move to earlier or later days.
  3. Tap the view button to switch between Week, 2 Weeks and Month. The button shows the view you're in, and the app remembers your choice.

If a day has no entries, you'll see "No Activities Logged". If you use reminders (Premium), days with reminders are marked too.

Search

  1. Open your child.
  2. Tap the magnifying glass at the top of the screen.
  3. Type a word, such as "accident" or a word from a comment.

Search looks through the activity names and comments for this child, across all dates, newest first. Tap a result to open it, or swipe it to the left to Edit or Delete.

See the timeline for one activity

A timeline lists every entry of one activity, such as every Accident, newest first, with its date and time. Shading changes from one day to the next, so you can see where each day starts.

  1. Open your child.
  2. Tap the clock icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Pick an activity.

In the timeline:

  • Tap an entry to open it.
  • Tap + to log a new activity.
  • Tap the clock icon to switch to another activity's timeline.

You can also open a timeline from an entry: tap the entry, then tap the clock icon or Timeline.

For charts, heatmaps and success rates, see How to see your child's progress.

Troubleshooting

  • "Your search ... did not match any activities.": try a shorter word, or part of a word. Search only covers the child you have open.
  • I can't find an entry on the calendar: check that the right day is selected, or use search.
  • An entry from another phone is missing: pull down on the Activities tab to sync, or see I have missing data or my app is not up to date.
