Each rider has a pickup place for trips to an event and a drop-off place for trips home.
You can pick a saved place or add a new one without leaving the screen you are on.
From the Ride Organizer
- Open a carpool and tap Organizer.
- Open a day and tap the rider's name.
- Tap Pickup location (on a trip to the event) or Drop-off location (on a trip home).
- Choose Just this trip or Every trip in the carpool.
- Tap a place, or tap Add Location to add a new one.
From a trip
- Open an event and choose the To or From tab.
- Tap a rider to see their details.
- Tap Pickup location or Drop-off location, then pick or add a place as above.
For every trip in a carpool
- Open a carpool and tap its riders (for example 3 Riders).
- Open a rider.
- Tap Pickup location or Drop-off location and pick or add a place.
Which place is used
- A place set for Just this trip applies only to that day.
- A place set for Every trip in a carpool applies to every trip in that carpool, unless one trip has its own.
- Otherwise Kid Hop uses your family's default place.
- Tap Use the usual place to undo a change.
Riders from another family
You can choose a place for any rider in your carpool.
A place you add for another family's rider is saved to the carpool, so everyone in the carpool can see it.
Kid Hop never changes the other family's own places.
Troubleshooting
- "Not set" under a rider means no place is saved yet. Tap it and add one.
- A place has no pin on the map. Its address could not be found. Open Account > Locations, edit the place and pick the address from the search results.
