Reminders send a notification when it's time for a potty break.
They need Premium; without it, Save and Add open the upgrade screen.
You'll find them on your child's Reminders tab:
- Smart Potty Reminders remind you a set time after something happens, such as an hour after your child last went potty.
- Scheduled Reminders remind you at set times, like a potty schedule at 8, 10 and 12.
Set up a smart reminder
- Under Smart Potty Reminders, tap a potty activity, such as Went Potty.
- Turn on Enable smart reminder.
- Tap "Remind me with a notification, to potty..." to choose how long after the activity to remind you.
- Tap "Remind me between..." to choose the hours when the reminder is active.
- To also start a potty timer, turn on Start a timer and choose its length, sound and vibration.
- To remind family too, tap Remind other team members? and choose who.
- Tap Save.
Each time you log that activity between those hours, the reminder is set for that long after the entry's time.
Logging it again moves the reminder.
The notification says, for example, "Potty Time! It's been 1 hour since Emma went potty."
To turn it off, open it, turn off Enable smart reminder, and tap Yes; any timer it started stops too.
Add a scheduled reminder
- On the Reminders tab, next to Scheduled Reminders, tap Add.
- Tap the activity ("Sit on the potty" to start) to pick another, such as "Go potty" or a habit.
- Choose how often:
- Once: pick a date and a time in the future.
- Daily: choose Every 1 to 30 days and a time.
For more than 1 day, also pick a Start Date.
- Weekly: tap Select Day, choose every 1 to 5 weeks, and pick a time.
- Add a Note if you like, and choose people in Remind other team members?.
- Make sure Enabled is on, and tap Save.
The notification shows your child's name and, for example, "Reminder: Sit on the potty".
Change, pause or delete a scheduled reminder
- Use its switch to pause it or turn it back on.
- Tap it to change it; the activity can't be changed.
- To delete it, open it, tap the trash icon, and tap Yes.
Only the person who created a scheduled reminder can change it.
One shared with you shows the creator's name instead of a switch.
Today's reminders also appear under Reminders today on the Activities tab; tap one to log that activity.
The calendar marks days with reminders.
Troubleshooting
- "You can have up to 30 reminders per activity.": delete one you no longer need; the smart reminder counts too.
- "A one-time reminder must be set for a future date and time.": choose a later date or time.
- Add is greyed out: turn on a potty or habit activity on the child's Settings tab.
- Reminders don't arrive: see Why am I not getting reminders or alarms?.
