Each home has its own settings for rewards, the weekly chore day, currency and PIN.
Changes sync to everyone in the home.
Open Home Settings
- Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen.
- Under Current Home, tap Home Settings.
You can also tap the gear icon at the top of the Progress or Rewards tab.
To change another home's settings, tap Settings, then My Homes, tap the home, tap the three dots at the top right, then Settings.
Profiles with Limit Access can't open Home Settings.
The settings
- Reward Type: choose Allowance to earn money for chores, Points to earn points that kids redeem for custom rewards, or None for no rewards.

- Chores Day: the day weekly chores are due when you don't pick days for them.
It is Saturday until you change it.
If you change it, those weekly chores move to the new day.
- Currency: the currency used for allowances and rewards.
- PIN (Optional): a 4-digit PIN that stops profiles with Limit Access from switching to another member.

Reward Type, Chores Day and Currency save as soon as you pick a new value.
Troubleshooting
- "A minimum of 4 digits is required" The PIN must be exactly 4 numbers.
- I don't see Home Settings: if you are not signed in, tap your home's name under Current Home, then the three dots at the top right, then Settings.
If the member selected on this phone has Limit Access, switch to a parent's profile from the name at the top of the Home tab.
