How to change the order of tasks and chores

You can set the order of the tasks inside a chore, for example to build a morning routine. The list of chores on the Home tab is sorted by name.

You need a profile without Limit Access to change a chore.

Change the order of tasks in a chore

1. Open the chore, tap the three dots at the top right, then tap Edit.
2. Under the tasks, tap Reorder tasks. It shows when the chore has two or more tasks.
3. Drag the tasks into the order they should be done.
4. Tap Done to close the list.
5. Tap Save to save the chore.

The tasks now show in this order on the chore screen, for everyone in the home.

How chores are ordered on the Home tab

Chores for each day are sorted by chore name, from A to Z. Chores with the same name are sorted by room, then by due time.

There is no drag-and-drop for chores. To put chores in a set order, start their names with a number:

• 01 Make the bed
• 02 Brush teeth
• 03 Pack school bag

Use two digits (01, 02 ... 10), so that 10 comes after 9. To rename a chore, edit it and change the Chore Name (Optional).
