How to change the app's look, time format and language

These settings only change Chore Boss on the phone you are using. They don't change anything for the rest of your family.

How to open App Settings

1. Tap the Settings tab.
2. Under App, tap App Settings.

What you can change

• Appearance: choose Light, Dark or Automatic. Automatic follows your phone's light or dark mode.
• Use 24-hour Time Format: show times as 18:00 instead of 6:00 PM.
• Floating Assistant Button: show or hide the Assistant button on the Home, Chores, Progress and Rewards tabs and on chore screens. See How to use the Chore Boss Assistant.

How to change the language

1. Tap the Settings tab.
2. Under App, tap the language next to Language.
3. Pick a language from the list.

Chore Boss switches to the new language right away. Chores, rooms and tasks you named yourself keep the names you gave them.
