# Is Fever Whiz free?

Yes. Fever Whiz is free to download, and logging doses, temperatures, symptoms and notes is always free. Fever Whiz Premium is an optional paid plan that adds more features.

- Your whole family: give caregivers access to your children and message them.

- Photos, videos and documents, barcode scanning, and your own symptoms and activities.
- More **Insights**, longer **Progress** ranges, and the Apple Watch and Wear OS apps.
- No ads.

## Does my account include Premium?

Tap any feature with a yellow star:

- If the feature opens, your account includes Premium.
- If it shows **Unlock Fever Whiz** with the plans, the feature needs Premium.
- If Fever Whiz asks you to sign in, sign in.
  If your account includes Premium, the feature unlocks; if not, you see the plans.

## How to sign in

1. On the home screen, tap the gear icon to open the menu.
2. Tap **Sign In**.
3. Create a free account, or sign in to the one you have.

## How to get Premium

1. Open the menu and tap **Settings**.
2. Tap **Fever Whiz Premium**.
3. Choose a plan and tap **Continue**.

You don't need to sign in to buy Premium.

## Troubleshooting

- **You see Sign In To Unlock in the menu:** sign in.
  If your account includes Premium, every feature unlocks.
- **A feature is still locked after you sign in:** close and reopen Fever Whiz, so your account details refresh.
  If you have a subscription and it is still locked, open the plans and tap **Restore Previous Purchases**.
- **You were signed out:** see [I was signed out of Fever Whiz](https://www.kidplay.tech/help/i-was-signed-out-of-fever-whiz).
