# How to export your child's data or share a health report with your pediatrician

Open your child, tap Care & Info, then Share a Report. Pick dates and PDF or CSV, then tap Preview PDF or Share CSV. Needs Fever Whiz Premium.

You can export or download your child's data as a CSV spreadsheet or a PDF report.
Use it to keep your own copy of your entries, or to share a report with your pediatrician or another caregiver.
It covers your child's temperatures, medications and symptoms for the dates you choose.
The report is made on your phone, so it works offline and includes entries that haven't synced yet.

**Share a Report** is part of Fever Whiz Premium.
If you see **Unlock Fever Whiz** when you tap it, see [What's free and what's in Fever Whiz Premium](https://www.kidplay.tech/help/fever-whiz-premium-features).

## Create a report

1. Open your child and tap the **Care & Info** tab.
2. Tap **Share a Report**.
3. Under **Date range**, pick **7 days**, **14 days**, **30 days** or **90 days**, or tap **Custom** to choose your own dates.
4. Under **Activities**, choose what to include.
5. Under **Format**, choose **PDF** or **CSV**.
6. Turn **Include notes** on or off.
For a PDF, you can also turn **Include every entry** on or off.
7. Tap **Preview PDF** or **Share CSV**.

For a PDF, check the preview, then tap **Share** to send it by email, message or another app, or **Print** to print it.
For a CSV, your phone's share sheet opens straight away.

## Download all your data

1. Open **Share a Report**, and under **Format** choose **CSV**.
2. Under **Date range**, tap **Custom** and pick the earliest date you want (up to 5 years back), ending today.
3. Leave all activities selected, and leave **Include notes** on if you want your notes too.
4. Tap **Share CSV**.
5. Save the file to your phone or cloud storage, or send it to yourself by email.

Each export covers one child, so repeat it for each of your children.
The CSV lists every entry with its date, time and details.
Attached documents are listed by name, and photos are included as links, not as files.

## Report one illness

To cover exactly one illness, start from its episode:

1. Open your child and tap the **Episodes** tab.
2. Open the episode and tap the share icon.

The **Date range** is already set to the episode, from the day symptoms started to the day it ended (or today, if it's still ongoing).
See [How to track an illness with episodes](https://www.kidplay.tech/help/how-to-track-an-illness-with-episodes).

## PDF or CSV?

- **PDF:** An easy-to-read summary with the highest temperature, doses, illness episodes, a medications table, the temperature curve and a day-by-day table.
**Include every entry** adds the full list of entries after the summary.
- **CSV:** Every entry as a spreadsheet you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

The report only describes what you logged.
It doesn't give advice or a diagnosis.

## Ask the assistant

If you use the assistant (the yellow button on your child's screen), you can ask it for a report, for example "Make a report for the last week".
It gives you a link that opens the same **Share a Report** screen with the dates already set.
You can check and change everything before you share.

## Troubleshooting

- **"Choose at least one activity.":** Select at least one activity under **Activities**.
- **"Can't finish the PDF":** Some text in the report needs a font that is downloaded once.
Connect to the internet and try again, or share a CSV instead.
- **"The report couldn't be created. Please try again.":** Close the report screen and try again.
If it keeps happening, try a shorter date range or a CSV.
- **An entry is missing:** Check that its date is inside the date range, and that its activity is selected under **Activities**.
Entries other caregivers logged appear once they have synced to your phone.
