# How to find tips and training guides

Open the gear icon on the main screen, tap Pet Care Tips, then search or pick your pet's kind under Species. You can also tap the question mark icon on an activity.

Doggy Time has a library of pet care tips and training guides, written for each kind of pet.
You can find them in a few places.

## Browse all tips

1. Tap the gear icon at the top right of the main screen.
2. Tap **Pet Care Tips**.
3. Type in the **Search** box, or pick a kind of pet under **Species...**.
4. Tap a tip to read it.

## Tips for one activity

1. On your pet's **Activities** tab, tap an activity at the bottom of the screen, for example **Training** or **Walk**.
2. Tap the question mark icon at the top of the screen.

You'll see the tips for that activity, for example **Training: Help & Tips**, picked for your kind of pet.
The icon only appears when there are tips for that activity.

## From the Insights tab

On your pet's **Insights** tab, scroll to the bottom of an insight and tap **Get helpful tips and insights from our articles and our community.**

## Save the tips you like

- Tap the heart on a tip to like it.
- To see them again, open **Pet Care Tips**, tap the three dots at the top right, then **Liked Tips**.

## Ask the Assistant

The Assistant answers from the same tips, for example "How do I stop Max pulling on the leash?".

## Troubleshooting

- **"No tips available for that search term yet. Please check back soon or try a different search term."**
  Try a shorter or different word, or clear the species you picked.
- **The tips don't load.**
  Check your internet connection, then pull down on the list to refresh it.
- **I don't see the question mark icon on an activity.**
  There are no tips for that activity yet.
  Browse **Pet Care Tips** instead.
