# Can I get back a pet I deleted?

Yes. Open the gear icon, tap Deleted Pets, choose your pet, and tap Ask Support under Bring back. Their entries come back, but reminders need to be set up again.

When you delete a pet, their entries are kept, and our support team can bring the pet back with all their entries.
Reminders don't come back, so you'll need to set them up again.

## Ask us to bring a pet back

1. Tap the gear icon at the top right of the main screen.
2. Tap **Deleted Pets**.
   It only appears after a pet has been deleted.
3. Tap the pet you want back.
4. Under **Bring back** and your pet's name, tap **Ask Support**.
5. Send the message that opens.
   It already has your pet's details in it.

Once support has restored your pet, they show up on the main screen again.

## Who deleted my pet?

**Deleted Pets** shows when each pet was deleted and by whom, for example "Deleted on Oct 12, 2026 by you".

## Hide a pet without deleting

If you just don't want to see a pet on the main screen, archive them instead.
You can unarchive them yourself any time, and nothing is lost.

## Troubleshooting

- **I don't see Deleted Pets in the menu.**
  No pet has been deleted on this account, or this phone hasn't synced yet.
  If a pet is missing and isn't listed, see [How to fix missing data or sync to a new phone](https://www.kidplay.tech/help/i-have-missing-data-or-my-app-is-not-updated).
- **The pet is still missing after you asked.**
  Open **Help** in the app and tap **Contact us**.
  Tell us your pet's name and the email you sign in with.
